Gym / PE - Gymnastics

For the past few weeks we've been doing Gymnastics in PE, using the beam, mini tramp, trampoline, horizontal and parallel bars, as well as doing things on the floor.


One challenge of mine was using the mini tramp, it wasn't easy, I managed to do a straight jump and jump full turn, I'm now able to do a Dive Roll as of Thursday (our last lesson)


My achievement was climbing to the top on the high ropes when they got out, it was fun but sort of scary.

PARALLEL BARS

  • Lower arm walk

FLOOR

HORIZONTAL BAR

  • Toe Shoot

  • B/wd Hip Circle

  • B/wd Hip Circle Mount

TRAMPOLINE

  •  Controlled bounce

  •  Straddle jump

  •  Full Turn

  •  Seat Drop

  •  Front drop

  1. Kia ora Apollo. Well done on completing so many gymnastics skills, when you had obvious anxiety about these things. It was very impressive watching you climb up the ropes to the gym roof! I hope you will continue to challenge yourself and enjoy your achievements. Mrs Hastie
