Nelson Mandela was born in July 18 1918 and passed on December 5 2015.
He was a black nationalist and the first coloured South Africa President (1994 to 1999) the first African to be elected fully representative democratic polls, he fought for freedom within his country, he also fought for a better world, for freedom and justice- where everyone was respected.
Nelson also received 260 awards over 40 years, his most recognised being the noble piece award.
He improved living standards and facilities of South Africans coloured population who suffered under apartheid.
