For one of my Wananga tasks Miss Bancroft had a daily challenge. Todays challenge was:
I saw it and instantly had a spark of inspiration, so i whiped out my drawing app on my phone and got arty.
About 50 minutes later I finished.
I used a Warm and Cool colour wheel and started out with the face of a cat in black, I then started sectioning out areas and used the sunset themed colours for the warm, and the cool colours consisted of colours of the sky with green and pinks/purples for details. It looked kind of bland after that so I added in some black and white details. The final piece looks amazing and I'm proud of what I've made.

ReplyDeleteWonderful Apollo! You really have definitely hit the brief. I can see the background really contrasts with the sunset themed colours. I really like the little black and white details it really adds to the picture. I also think the raised eyebrow and tongue give it personality and makes me feel like the picture is giving me sass. It was also a great idea to use a drawing app.
